A partnership for water preservation
Within this partnership, we launched an internal awareness and training initiative for our employees through an outing to a permaculture farm. The aim was to raise awareness among Ennolys employees and their families about the crucial importance of water preservation, while also promoting permaculture practices.
This educational farm, located in Saint André de Seignanx (Landes), is focused on preserving ancient animal breeds and growing fruits and vegetables according to permaculture principles. It offers an ideal learning environment to understand the vital role of water in the ecosystem.
Awareness and training for a tangible impact
During this outing, held on March 23, 2024, the 34 participants, including Ennolys employees and their families, had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of permaculture and gain hands-on learning in the field. Activities included understanding the role of trees in the water cycle, biodiversity, soil permeability, as well as water redistribution and its connection with animals.
These lessons were supported by interactive and educational workshops, such as making natural bird feeders from butcher’s broom to hang in trees, and preparing cuttings of wild mulberry.
Supporting educational initiatives
Ennolys also supported Water Family’s educational mission by making a donation. This financial contribution aims to strengthen the association’s educational programs for schoolchildren, thereby raising awareness among future generations about the importance of protecting the environment.
Impacts: engagement, awareness, and team cohesion
This partnership with Water Family strengthens our commitment to responsible action in favor of environmental preservation. By involving employees and their families, we succeeded in raising awareness and mobilizing our teams around ecological issues.
The outing also fostered team spirit and cohesion within the company, illustrating the value of such initiatives for corporate culture and employee engagement.
Encouraged by the positive outcomes of this partnership, we plan to continue CSR initiatives in the coming years. New collaborations with associations and local initiatives will be launched alongside Water Family and our other partners!
We thus remain firmly committed to a CSR approach, reaffirming our role as a responsible actor in protecting the planet and ensuring the well-being of future generations.
